When you’re on stage singing or playing your instrument, creating magical musical moments, do you still feel like something is missing? Are you yearning for more as an artist? DivaNation offers you a sisterhood of highly creative singers, musicians and other performing and fine artists. We strive to express our divine creative energy to move and heal the world through the beauty of Jazz music! We invite you to join us, as we weave the past & future of women in Jazz into a magical garden of love & light!

Who is DivaNation Philly?
A true sisterhood of singers, DivaNation PHILLY is a grassroots organization, birthed through the Philadelphia Jazz Project, supported in part by the Community Education & Action Project, Inc., and fiscally sponsored by CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia. We are a membership based movement that seeks funding and projects that support women in the business of music and the arts. Connected to jazz of the past and looking forward to the future, we call upon the spirit of legendary female Jazz singers ~ Ethel Waters, Trudy Pitts, Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone & more ~ striving towards growth, musical excellence, and success as individual performers and as a collective.
